Explore our foundational range of export-grade structural hardware, engineered to global compliance parameters.
Established in 2006, Sinsun Hardware stands as a premier modern enterprise in the fastener sector. Located in Northern China, we have developed the largest self-tapping screw and industrial fastener production base in the region. Operating from a highly integrated, state-of-the-art 30,000 square meter facility, we drive regional manufacturing capabilities by deploying advanced automation, stringent quality management mechanisms, and client-centric distribution channels.
Through our engineering depth, we focus on technical support, custom design services (OEM & ODM), and quality metrics. From raw material sourcing to structural performance validation, we ensure consistency across our vast catalog of over 20,000 product SKUs.
A technical assessment of load distribution and vibration resistance in critical industrial joints.
Serrated flange nuts are high-performance self-locking fasteners engineered to eliminate the structural weaknesses associated with traditional two-piece assemblies (standard hex nuts combined with helical spring lock washers). In heavy industrial operations, dynamic forces, thermal expansion cycles, and mechanical harmonics lead to fastener tension loss. The design of the serrated flange address these dynamic loads through two integrated mechanisms: load-bearing flange distribution and directional locking serrations.
The integrated flange acts as a built-in flat washer, distributing clamp force over a larger surface area. This reduces the bearing stress on the parent material, preventing surface deformation or galling on softer metals and composites.
Angled radial serrations on the flange base are configured to permit clockwise rotation (tightening) while physically digging into the mating surface during counter-clockwise rotation (loosening). This increases the breakaway torque required to unseat the nut.
By eliminating the separate washer interface, serrated flange nuts minimize the number of mating joints. Fewer contact surfaces reduce joint relaxation caused by surface roughness bedding-in, maintaining pre-load levels under cyclic loading.
In global infrastructure, automotive manufacturing, and renewable energy sectors, the demand for fast, reliable assembly methods has driven the switch to serrated flange nuts. They speed up assembly times compared to standard configurations by reducing the total part count. At Sinsun Hardware, our ODM and OEM development programs allow commercial procurement managers to customize flange dimensions, serration angles, and coating chemistries to meet specific industrial environments.
Combining German machinery and Taiwanese precision technology to produce high-performance industrial fasteners.
Our production floor is equipped with multi-station cold heading machines imported from Germany, integrated alongside precision Taiwanese production lines. This engineering setup allows us to process wire diameters and form complex geometries with excellent repeatability. Our products exhibit tight tolerances (≤±0.02mm), ensuring problem-free feeding and driving performance on automated industrial assembly lines.
Additionally, we run four in-house modern heat treatment lines. This in-house heat treating capability allows us to precisely manage critical mechanical properties, ensuring our products achieve the desired balance of core ductility and surface hardness (typical values: HRC 28-32 for class-rated steel nuts, with tensile strengths exceeding 1,000 MPa). Our process control virtually eliminates concerns related to hydrogen embrittlement or structural stress fractures.
| Property Parameter | Sinsun Standard Metric | Testing Protocol |

| Dimensional Accuracy | ±0.02 mm | Laser Micrometer Calibration |
| Surface Finish (Roughness) | Ra ≤ 0.4 μm | Profile Roughness Metrology |
| Corrosion Resistance | 1,000+ Salt Spray Hours | ASTM B117 / ISO 9227 |
| Tensile Yield Strength | ≥ 1,000 MPa | Destructive Tensile Testing |
For custom ODM/OEM designs, we assist engineering teams through the entire product development cycle. We evaluate application metrics including joint clamp load calculations, chemical compatibility of coatings, and mechanical shear stresses. Our engineering department uses 3D CAD modeling and finite element analysis (FEA) to simulate installation stresses. This ensures that customized serrated profiles perform as designed before physical toolmaking begins.

Analysis of geographic application landscapes and compliance frameworks for global supply chains.
In modern industrial manufacturing, fasteners must meet diverse regional regulations and quality frameworks. The global market is divided between metric standards (primarily EN, ISO, and DIN codes used in Europe and Asia) and imperial standards (ASME/ANSI guidelines used in North America). For global procurement departments, working with a manufacturer that understands these standards is essential for project compatibility and risk mitigation.
Fluctuations in steel prices, trade tariffs, and transport logistics require a reliable supply partner. Sinsun Hardware mitigates supply chain risks by maintaining direct partnerships with major domestic steel producers like Xingtai Steel.
By keeping a strategic inventory of raw wire coils and semi-finished blanks, we insulate international buyers from sudden material shortages. Additionally, our 12,000 sqm smart warehouse manages shipments to prevent customs documentation hold-ups, ensuring dependable delivery times across all shipping channels.
Our quality control system monitors every stage of production, from raw steel coils to the finished products.
Quality control begins at the raw material stage. We source high-grade carbon and alloy steels from Xingtai Steel, which then undergo in-house spheroidizing annealing. This heat treatment reorganizes the steel's carbide structure, optimizing cold forming performance and preventing microscopic cracking during head forming and thread rolling.
Our Quality Assurance department monitors production using a 12-point inspection plan. Key checks include:
Each shipment is fully traceable back to the raw material heat number, with EN 10204 3.1 certification available upon request. This level of traceability helps industrial distributors satisfy regulatory audits and minimize quality liabilities.
Looking ahead to the next generation of industrial joint technology and green manufacturing.
We are phasing out hexavalent chromium coatings in favor of water-based, environmentally compliant inorganic zinc flake systems, meeting RoHS and REACH requirements.
We are expanding research into titanium and high-strength alloy steels, aiming to reduce fastener weight by 20% while maintaining Class 10.9 and 12.9 properties.
Developing optimized, deburred flange structures tailored for automated robotic pick-and-place lines, reducing assembly jams.
