Chemical anchors use a resin-based adhesive injected into a drilled hole before inserting the anchor stud. They are preferred for heavy-duty, vibration-resistant, or close-to-edge applications where mechanical expansion might stress the concrete.
Typically, expansion-type concrete anchors cannot be reused because the expansion mechanism deform during installation and removal. Reusing them significantly compromises safety and hold strength.
