Fastener failure in heavy engineering projects is usually traced back to internal microstructural defects within the steel or poorly controlled thermal processing. Sinsun eliminates these issues by managing the steel microstructure from raw wire rod to finished nail.

Using premium steel billets from Xingtai Steel, we conduct in-house spheroidizing annealing. By slowly heating and controlled cooling the steel wire in our modern gas-fired furnaces, we change the lamellar cementite into spherical cementite particles. This structural modification increases ductility, improves cold formability, and prevents internal cracking during high-speed header formation.

Following annealing, the wire is cold-drawn through multi-stage tungsten carbide dies. This process ensures accurate wire diameters (within ±0.02 mm) and increases structural strength, enabling Sinsun nails to drive cleanly through tough concrete, dense local hardwoods, and structural metal frames without bending.
